Snow Day 2011

After a weekend spent with John in Charleston, and planning for the upcoming week, the South gets hit with a Snow Storm 2011. Milk and bread was flying off the shelves, as I was heading back to good ol' North Augusta. Instead of sleeping in and enjoying relaxing on my snow day (that i did not want might i add), I got to wake up call with the announcement from John that his car was giving him problems again.

So after finally waking up, and realizing what is going on, and 5 hours later, we have found a car online being sent to Charleston from Columbia and hopefully will be buying "us" a new-to-us Toyota Camry.

Goodbye Blazer, Hello Sedan

Hopefully, I will be down in Charleston for my long weekend with a new car in our possession. His friends at school must like him alot because they are going to pick him up and take him to work and help us save some money and not have to rent a car. I mean he is a catch, who wouldn't like John?!?

Back to Snow Storm 2011, Snow in the south is like a once in a liftime experience it feels like. I thought moving home to North Augusta was going to make my snow days slim to none. During my time at Winthrop in Rock Hill, SC, we atleast had one or two snow days a year. We even had a fire day my last year in graduate school. Another story for another time.....
